Custom Orthotics
An assessment of both feet is completed by one of our professionally trained staff. An ink imprint (revealing pressure points) and a foam imprint of both feet are taken. This information is then sent off to our manufacturing lab where the foam is filled with plaster, dried and molds of both feet have been created; from these molds custom orthotics are made. This process takes approximately 7-10 business days and then the completed orthotics are set back to our office. When you come in to pick up the orthotics one of our staff members would go over the orthotic protocol and breaking in period of the orthotics. We then call you in three weeks to see how you are making out with the orthotics and if needed an adjustment can be made.
**Custom Orthotics Require a prescription from a Doctor** If you are a practitioner we are happy to accept fax: 506-643-8734 and/or email: orthoplus@nb.aibn.com with your referral for your patient and in turn we will contact your patient regarding the prescribed product, set up an appointment for fitting and product knowledge and put them at ease with their new brace/stockings/orthotics, etc.
